Sea~Zone® 60 Antifouling is a new generation Silyl Acrylate formulation that protects hulls from marine growth though a self polishing hydrolysis action. The silyl acrylate, cuprous oxide and co-biocide combination provides outstanding protection that has exceeded side by side raft trials against traditional ablative cuprous oxide based formulations.
Elite® Defender is a professional grade spraying finish coat especially formulated for use in the marine industry and provides a convenient 1:1 (Part A : Part B) mix ratio by volume
Elite® Defender is based on the latest aliphatic urethane technology, giving exceptional UV protection and an ultra-durable gloss. It has been developed specifically to resist the high UV light exposure in both NZ and Australia.

Altex Yacht & Boat Paint (AYB), Australasia’s leading brand for Marine Coatings is delighted to announce a new sponsorship agreement with Australia’s premier yacht club The Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (CYCA).
As part of the sponsorship, Altex will supply their ‘winning edge’ Pettit Vivid antifoul to CYCA’S fleet of 10 identical Elliot 7m fixed keel yachts.
AYB NSW Marine State Sales Manager, David Brown says “we are pleased to be supporting such an iconic club and proud to supply the CYCA with a winning formula”
One of the CYCA’s most remarkable success stories is its youth training program, the Youth Sailing Academy (YSA). Since 1993, the YSA has seen thousands of students graduate from its learn to sail through to advance courses, some going on to represent their club and country on the international match racing circuit.
The YSA continues to achieve the objectives set by the Training and Development committee. Many of the current YSA members as well as YSA alumni have gone on to successfully representing the CYCA at both national and international match racing and fleet racing regatta’s as well as becoming significant contributors to ocean racing teams competing in events such as the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race.
